Alunet Aluminium Windows, Sliding Doors & Bifolds

Alunet is a UK aluminium supplier producing thermally broken window, sliding and bifold systems for the domestic market. At Inspired Glazing our primary aluminium system is Reynaers, but we work with Alunet products where they suit the project — for a particular price point, lead time or specification.

Aluminium, done properly

• Slim frames, more glass
• Any RAL powder-coat colour, dual-colour available
• Thermally broken sections for warm frames and low condensation
• Multi-point locking; options tested to PAS 24 for security
• Minimal maintenance, long life

Alunet windows

Casement and tilt-and-turn windows with slim sightlines and modern locking, double or triple glazed. A good fit for replacement projects and contemporary extensions.

Alunet sliding doors

Inline sliding systems for wide openings, with slim interlocks to maximise the glass area. We check panel sizes and weights at survey and confirm the configuration before ordering.

Alunet bifold doors

Folding doors from two to seven panels, opening to one or both sides, with a low-threshold option for near-level access between inside and out.

Fitted by the people who measured it

Our own directly employed fitters install every job — no subcontractors, and a director on site. We cover Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, Bracknell, Slough, Eton and the wider Thames Valley.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Alunet?

Alunet Systems is a UK aluminium systems company listed at Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, in West Yorkshire. It designs the Aluna range and supplies it through fabricating partners rather than selling direct. Firms like us buy the system and make the finished windows. We fabricate Alunet aluminium windows in our Fifield workshop near Windsor and fit them with our own team.

What products are in the Alunet Aluna range?

Alunet lists the Aluna Window and Aluna+ Window, Aluna Bifold, Aluna Slider, Aluna Glazed Door, Aluna French Doors, Aluna+ Entrance Door, Aluna+ Interior door, Aluna+ Rooflight and Aluna+ Lantern. From us, Alunet is offered for aluminium windows. Our bifolds are Smart Visofold and Cortizo, and our sliding doors are Reynaers ConceptPatio 130.

Are Alunet products PAS 24 certified?

Alunet states it holds PAS 24 certification across the complete Aluna suite, and trade press reported the Aluna Bifold achieving PAS 24:2022 in April 2024. PAS 24 applies to the tested build, so the hardware, glass and locking ordered must match. We confirm the tested specification for your windows before we place the order.

Should I choose Alunet windows or Reynaers SlimLine 68?

Choose on opening style, look and budget. Reynaers SlimLine 68 is an outward-opening casement only, and Reynaers lists it at Uw 1.1 W/m²K based on triple glazing. Alunet offers the Aluna and Aluna+ windows. Ask us whether triple glazing is available in your chosen system and sizes, and we will price both side by side.

Can I have Alunet windows with a different brand of door?

Yes. Many homes pair aluminium windows from one system with doors from another, such as Reynaers ConceptPatio 130 sliders or Smart Visofold bifolds. We powder coat to matching RAL colours so frames look consistent. Profile shapes and sightlines differ between systems, so we show you the sections at survey before you commit.
