Slim sightlines and more natural light

Because aluminium is stronger than uPVC or timber, the frames can be much narrower while still carrying large, heavy panes of double or triple glazing. The higher glass-to-frame ratio brings daylight deeper into a room, makes spaces feel larger, and gives a clean contemporary line inside and out. On extensions and open-plan kitchens it lets you run a near-continuous run of glass across the back of the house.

Thermal performance and Part L

Modern aluminium windows use a polyamide thermal break between the inner and outer frame to stop cold bridging. Replacement windows must meet Building Regulations Part L (a U-value of 1.4 W/m2K or better), plus Part F for ventilation and Part K for safety glass. Our aluminium systems meet this comfortably, and with triple glazing can go well beyond it for low-energy projects. We register every installation for building regulations and provide the compliance certificate on completion.

Durability and low maintenance

A powder-coated aluminium frame does not warp, swell or discolour, and needs little more than an occasional wipe. The finish is available in any RAL colour, including anthracite grey and matte black, and can be different inside and out.

Aluminium or uPVC?

We fit both. Choose aluminium for large glazed spans, slim sightlines, a contemporary or steel-look, matching existing frames, or a long-life finish on a higher-value home.
