Cortizo is one of Europe’s largest aluminium systems companies, with a deep range of thermally broken window, sliding and folding systems. At Inspired Glazing we work primarily with Reynaers, but where a project calls for a particular Cortizo profile — a very slim sliding sightline, a specific colour match, or a system already specified by an architect — we supply and fit it with the same directly employed team.
Why homeowners choose aluminium
- Slim frames and more glass for the same opening
- Strong, stable sections that carry large panes and wide doors
- Powder-coated finish in any RAL colour, dual-colour available
- Thermally broken for warm edges and low condensation
- Long service life with very little maintenance
Cortizo windows
Casement and tilt-and-turn windows with narrow sightlines, multi-point locking and double or triple glazing. Suited to contemporary extensions, replacement projects on 1960s–2000s houses, and new-build.
Cortizo sliding doors
Large-pane sliding systems, including minimal-frame options where the interlock and frames are kept as slim as possible for an almost uninterrupted view. Panels can be made very large; we survey each opening and confirm pane sizes and weights before ordering.
Cortizo bifold doors
Folding systems that stack neatly to one or both sides, with a low-threshold option for a near-level floor line. Configurations from two to seven panels depending on the opening.
Supplied and fitted by our own team
We measure, order and install with our own fitters — no subcontract chain, and a director on site. We work across Windsor, Eton, Maidenhead, Ascot, Sunningdale, Bracknell, Slough and the wider Thames Valley.
Not sure which system you need?
Most customers don’t come to us asking for a brand — they want the right window or door for the house and budget. Tell us about the project and we’ll recommend the system, whether that’s Reynaers, Cortizo or something else, and give you a fixed price. Get a free quote or call 01753 965 005.
Cortizo aluminium: common questions
- Do you fit Cortizo as standard? Our standard aluminium system is Reynaers. We supply and fit Cortizo when a project specifies it, or when a particular Cortizo profile is the best fit — for example a very slim sliding door sightline.
- Can you match an existing colour? Yes. Cortizo aluminium is powder-coated and we can finish it in any RAL colour, including dual-colour (different inside and out).
- How large can a Cortizo sliding door be? Individual panels can be very large, but the safe maximum depends on glass weight and the opening. We confirm pane sizes at survey.
- What areas do you cover? Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, Sunningdale, Bracknell, Slough, Eton and the wider Thames Valley and Berkshire.
- Is aluminium warm enough? Modern Cortizo systems are thermally broken, so the inside and outside of the frame are separated by an insulating barrier. Paired with modern glazing they meet current building regulations.
